I was able to take my family to the exhibit in Henderson, NV. Unfortunately,
funds were not available to take my high school students. I did
post the information in class and several students attended. I
now have the large poster of the inventions in my classroom.
When we studied the Renaissance in my World History class, I showed
pictures of the artifacts you displayed. I must say, I was very
impressed with your entire display. My children are in grade
school and I had printed the teacher packet before we went and they
buzzed around the exhibits and kept track in their journals of what
they saw. They were absorbed from the film to the postcard, from
the paintings to the interactive exhibits.
I have a student teacher this semester and she was teaching about the
Industrial Revolution. As a team building activity, she had my
11th graders construct the bridge with 2x4's and tree poles she cut
over the summer. The bridge was sturdy enough to allow my students
to walk across. I was amazed.
Thank you for bringing the Da Vinci Experience to Henderson (I might
as well say Las Vegas). Our students do not have much access
to quality museums or historical exhibits. It seems that in our
town if something is over 30 years old, it gets imploded!
I will post the information for the San Diego exhibit and give extra
credit if anyone gets a chance to travel down there.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for notifying me. I have already
sent out hundreds of e-mails forwarding the info to teachers, parents,
art lovers etc. etc. We happened upon it on a vacation to Las
Vegas and was appalled that we didn't hear about it when it was in
Palm Springs. It was SO fabulous... Please make advertising a
priority and maybe mailers to schools even in the Orange County area
and Los Angeles. It is SO worth the trip!!! LOVED it. If
you need help stuffing envelopes, I'll be happy to volunteer or to
do whatever it takes to make this a success here. Thanks,
